Scott and I’s grand roadtrip was cut short due to BUCKETS of rain on and off, but we still saw some beautiful sites, cool animals, and fun cities. Our first night was in Port Stephens camping at the Melaleuca Surfside backpackers which was a really sweet place. The owners took care of rescued exotic birds, had three dogs, and a friendly kangaroo named Josie.

The Tan Tien Temple is a huge Buddhist temple about 20 minutes south of Wollongong. It is the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere! Scott and I ventured there a couple weeks ago, and of course it took me forever to get the pictures up but here they are!

Right next to uni is these amazing botanical gardens, I had no idea this whole time how gorgeous they were! Definitely bringing a picnic and a book next time. And the beach is a 5 minute walk from my dorm. Too perfect.
It’s been a busy busy week! Tests, researching, running. Scott’s birthday tomorrow! I’m baking him a cake…shhhh don’t tell :)
ROSIE LOOK-A-LIKE!!!! Went for a run with Scott this evening to the lighthouse and back and he kicked my butt. Beautiful sunset, beach running, and rosie’s brother. :) Now getting ready to go out! It really is go go go here!
